    Becky & Matt

    Sunday, April 26, 2009 | Engagement

I recently had the pleasure of shooting an engagement session with Becky and Matt. They were very fun.

Becky had the idea of doing a shoot in the rain. I thought it was a great idea but it turned out to be harder to land a shoot in inclement weather than it was to do one in nice weather.  We had a blast when we finally did land it. It turned out not to be very rainy but we still used the umbrella anyway.

I’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding in May.

They are so easy to photograph. Look at how they look at each other.

I love that you can tell that they are smiling without actually seeing the smile. It’s all in the eyes.

A couple with a different style of post-processing.

    3. I love this last one the most. It make me think of a rainy day in Paris where they just met and fell in love. Fast forward 60 yrs.and they are still madly in love. That is what this picture shows me.

    4. All I could think of was an old cheesy song from an old cheesy movie (though these two are WAY too cool for it)… “I’m just a fella/ A fella with an umbrella/ Looking for a girl/ who saved her love for a rainy day!”

Bless you, bless them and way to go!
