    Plastics Make it Possible

    Tuesday, May 19, 2009 | Film, Personal

I recently purchased myself a Holga. For those of you unfamiliar with Holgas they are cheap, crappy, inexpensive plastic cameras. They are unreliable, inconsistent and unprofessional. And I love them so.

Jennifer and I went on a walk and the Holga came along for the ride.

One of the beautiful things about a Holga is that you advance the film manually. This allows for multiple exposures on the same frame. Jennifer and I took the following shots of one another with double exposures. We both did it completely by accident and they turned out to be my two favorite shots on the roll.

And finally a portrait of yours truly courtesy of my wonderful wife.

    2. Sweet frames! These little cheapo camera’s could make you look artistic without you really trying. Maybe that is what I need

    3. Aaron, I have to say, I am so proud of these pictures! I know how much effort you put in to fixing up the Holga and learning how to make your style show through. I’m really proud, and I especially like the cool effect the Holga gives the tone of light.
